I removed and reinstalled the driver but dont work When i try to reinstall the printer, by bonjour i can istall it but by ip adress i cant.

Oki for the moment stopped providing a dedicated driver at 10.14.

Just now, I was able to restore function, I can not explain the why, but I can tell you exactly what I did: Turn the printer off with via the power button, not unplugging.

Shut down your Mac, wait at least 30 seconds (I was working so it stayed off for a few minutes) then restart.

Then I added the printer again, the same as I had done previously, no new tricks, my Mac detected my Oki and I clicked through the steps to reinstall.

I cant be certain but I did select generic postscript printer as opposed to using software for the drivers, (I dont remember doing this step previously and cant be sure what the default setting is, but that was my selection).

As of now this seems to be working, I have read that this may need to be repeated eventually due to some corruption but that is beyond my technical expertise.

Hope this works for you and in any case I hope Oki provides some updated drivers for us all I dont usually update right away but I was so happy with the update on my phone I went ahead and updated my Mac as well.

I checked with OKI and they plan to update the driver around middle of December.

Cant wait so long so I erased the C811dn off the printer settings and reinstalled using Generic PCL Laser Printer and I was able to print now, but only black and white, no color.

I just hope OKI can upgrade the driver for OS 10.15 quicker so I can print color too.

Here in Japan, there are like 100 Printer models which have stopped working, with the same Filter Failed error message.

And as stated on their Website, possible fixes which not be at until late November to Mid December, at the Earliest.

I have both a Color and a BW Oki Printer, which are both listed in their list and they have the Mid December timeframe.

Luckily, on top of the two iMac 27 2019 computers which I upgraded to macOS Catalina, I have a iMac 27 2011 computer with High Sierra installed and it still works on both printers.so, I either use a thumbdrive or do a Remote Login to it from my two iMac 27 2019 computers, for the files to print.

The IT types at OKI Data need to go find jobs that they can handle, because the positions that they have not obviously are not for them.

I did send a note to Oki support regarding an updated driver for Catalina and they said to just keep an eye on their website for updates.

Set that new printer as your default printer and see if it prints.
